Cultivation objectives:
This major is designed to cultivate graduates who are well educated in fundamental disciplines of wastewater, exhaust gas, physical pollution, solid waste and other pollution prevention and control, have a sound knowledge of relevant basic engineering practices, can adapt to change, and have the vision and insight needed to implement creative and cost effective solutions to growing demands.
The graduates can be engaged in the job of environmental planning and management, environmental engineering design and construction, environmental engineering education and R&D provided by government, planning and design institute, economic management department, environmental protection department, industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research units, and universities, as senior engineering and technical talents in environmental engineering.
