Traffic Engineering major was established and recruited students in 2010. There are 13 teachers of professional courses, including 1 professor, 1 senior engineer, 4 associate professors, and 6 of whom have PhDs. It is a high-level team of teachers with solid theoretical knowledge, strong practical ability and interdisciplinary integration in transportation engineering, civil engineering and other disciplines. This major relies on the Anhui Province Key Laboratory of Building Structures and Underground Engineering, the Comprehensive Experimental Center of Civil Engineering, and the Transportation Laboratory to provide students with good experimental conditions.

Relying on the disciplines of civil engineering and road bridge and river-crossing engineering, this major builds a professional knowledge platform, broadens the scope of professional adaptation, builds an internship training center, encourages students to participate in projects, cultivates students’ subject interest, stimulates students’ innovative spirit, and improves students’ practical ability.
Employment prospect:
Graduates of this major can engage in design, construction, management and other work in road engineering, transportation engineering facilities and other industries, as well as technical services, investment consulting, administrative management and other work in enterprises, institutions, government agencies and other departments. They can also continue to study for a master’s degree in road and railway engineering, transportation planning and management, traffic information engineering, and control.
