AHJZU, a university featured with civil engineering, makes full use of its advantages of professionals, of disciplines, of science and technology to exert its impact in the fields of energy conservation and environment protection, urbanization and Hui’s Style Architecture, underground engineering, public security engineering, advanced materials of construction. Today, ANJZU has formed several distinguished and high-impact directions of scientific research as well as research teams. In recent five years, ANJZU has undertaken more than 130 projects funded by National Scientific Supporting Program, National Key Research and Development Program, National Science and Technology Major Project, 973 Program, National Natural Science Foundation, and National Social Science Foundation. In addition, it has also undertaken 640 provincial-level or ministerial-level science and technology research projects. Among 68 awards for science and technology (provincial/ministerial-level or above) it has received, there are 4 Second Prizes of National Scientific and Technological Progress and 1 Golden Medal of China Patent Award.
