Secretary of State from the Cambodian Ministry of Public Works and Transport Visits Anhui Jianzhu University

On the November 21, a delegation of over ten people, led by Lau Vann (H.E. Mr. Lau Vann), Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Vice President of the Cambodia-China Friendship Association, and Head of the Overseas Student Management Group of A.M.T, visited our university. They were accompanied by relevant officials from the Cambodian Anhui Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation was warmly received by Ma Wenge, Secretary ofAHJZUParty Committee, and Professor Li Zao, Vice President of AHJZU , at the 21st-floor meeting room of the Huifeng Building in the Ziyun Road campus. Headsfrom the Academic Affairs Office, the International Education College, the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, as well as counselors and eight Cambodian students selected by the A.M.T Association, participated in the meeting. The visit aimed to deepen mutual cooperation in the field of education.

At the beginning of the meeting, Secretary Ma Wenge delivered a warm welcome address, expressing his appreciation for the Cambodian guests’ visit. He briefly introduced the history and academic standing of Anhui Jianzhu University, as well as the development of the Cambodian Student 1+4 Study Program hosted by AHJZU. He emphasized that this program aims to cultivate highly qualified professional talents for Cambodia, and AHJZUwill do its best to ensure the students' development, management, and services, helping them achieve academic success and personal growth. Secretary Ma also extended a warm welcome to more outstanding Cambodian students, encouraging them to consider Anhui Jianzhu University as their second home, where they could gain knowledge and build lasting friendships.


During the meeting, Mr. Lau Vann spoke about the progress of the A.M.T project and conveyed the Cambodian government's strong support for this initiative aimed at cultivating talent through study in China. He highlighted the long-standing and promising educational cooperation between Cambodia and China, expressing hopes for further strengthening exchanges and collaboration to promote the prosperity and development of both countries' educational sectors.


Both sides exchanged views on the training of Cambodian students in China and discussed future directions for cooperation, reaching a consensus on the next steps.

After the meeting, the delegation visited AHJZUHistory Museum and the Structural Lab. They were deeply impressed by the university’s history, academic strength, and campus culture.


This visit not only enhanced the friendship and trust between both sides but also laid a solid foundation for advancing practical and in-depth cooperation in the field of education.
